What is this website about?
This website is dedicated to providing additional information and support to the services we provide in helping students improve their understanding and proficiency in the area of mathematics.
We offer individual one to one and group sessions for students studying mathematics at Junior Cert, Leaving Cert and third level education in the Cork/Kerry region.
Why is mathematics so important?
Mathematics is clearly an important subject for scientific careers such as electronics, engineering, architecture, computer- science, e-commerce. However, it also extremely important for other careers such as medicine, financial services, graphic design i.e all those well-paid interesting jobs!
Do you have problems with mathematics?
Some people seem to have a natural gift for mathematics i.e. they have few problems in studying maths and somehow have the ability to easily pass exams with good grades. However, there are many people who struggle and just cannot seem to grasp the fundamental ideas as taught in the school classroom.
Our experience has shown that everybody is perfectly capable of studying maths successfully and more importantly achieve good exam results. What is needed, is somebody who can explain the seemingly complex principles in a friendly relaxed atmosphere with simple and real world examples that anybody can understand.
